Somewhere to eat outside

Walk down Villiers Street and you'll reach Embankment Gardens. There's often a brass band playing in the summer. When you've finished your food, you could even go to Gordon's Wine Bar.

Many famous people have lived along the Strand, including Charles Dickens, Virginia Woolf and Ralph Emerson. If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for Leon! Located at one end of London’s theatre land, LEON Strand is the perfect place for pre-theatre food. Take a walk around famous Soho and up through Chinatown, stroll along Waterloo Bridge and enjoy the view of the Thames, or head to LGBTQ superclub Heaven under Charing Cross and get ready to dance the night away. Alternatively, take the short walk to Trafalgar Square and enjoy Nelsons Column, giant lions, and even more giant pigeons. (We joke about the last bit. Kind of).
