It’s time for the second of our three-part series with Daisy Lowe, The Lowe Down, exploring sustainable solutions to the simple, everyday tasks that come with a heavy ecological price tag.

In this episode, Daisy discovers more about closed-loop economies: a circular relationship between the buyer, supplier and distributor that rethinks our wasteful shopping habits and minimises the inefficiency and waste in between each step.

Daisy starts her journey at Portobello Road where she meets Charles, owner of Liberte Cherie, a zero-waste grocery shop with a big mission to end non-recyclable packaging. Next, she finds Phil from Fill, whose refillable eco cleaning and laundry products are proudly stocked by Charles. And, finally, closing the loop is Hamish, whose distributor network sees him delivering Fill’s zero-waste groceries in his electric-powered van.
