featuring LEON Waffle Fries, Ketchup and Chilli Sauce

Serves 4

Prep time 10 min

Cook time 15-20 min

INGREDIENTS

  • One bag of LEON Waffle Fries
  • 5 tablespoons of LEON Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons LEON chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala powder (optional)

METHOD

  1. Cook the fries according to instructions on the back of pack.
  2. Meanwhile, in a very large bowl (big enough to fit in all the chips with room to stir) mix together the ketchup, chilli sauce, black pepper, garlic, and coriander.
  3. When the chips are cooked thoroughly and crispy, throw them straight into the bowl of sauce and toss to completely coat the chips with a thin layer of sauce.
  4. Serve topped with a little spring onion, coriander and red chilli and if using a sprinkling of Chaat masala powder.

Criss-cut, lightly seasoned and naturally gluten free, that’s just some of the reasons why our LEON waffle fries are a fan favourite. And now you can enjoy them at home. They’re a source of fibre and contain natural ingredients that you would find in your cupboard at home: potatoes, sunflower oil, flours and some spices for seasoning. We want plants to taste good, so these are a chip off the old block.

We get a lot of compliments on our breakfast muffins. This LEON ketchup is a big reason why. But it’s not just for muffins. We’ve created a sauce using all natural ingredients including cumin, mango and sundried tomatoes that makes the everyday an adventure in flavour.

We created this recipe from scratch in our very first restaurant back in 2004. And it’s still our most popular sauce. We use chipotle chillies and a hint of paprika to give the sauce its fruity, spicy warmth.
