Loaded Kimchi Waffle Fries

These loaded fries make for a comforting dish. Perfect for a cosy night in or as an impressive sharing platter with friends. The added kimchi kick will make it a dish to remember. 

Ingredients

LEON Waffle Fries

1 White Onion, thinly sliced

Kimchi, you should be able to buy from the majority of retailers

1 tsp Soy sauce

1tsp Sesame oil 

LEON Korean Mayo

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper, to taste

Spring onions, chopped for garnish

Fresh coriander, for garnish

Fresh lime, sliced for garnish

Red chili, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Method

Pre-heat oven to 220°c / 200°c Fan / Gas Mark 7

Place waffle fries on a baking tray and pop in your pre-heated oven.

Cook for 15-20 minutes turning half way through.

In the meantime, get a pan and fry sliced onion, your fresh kimchi, and add your sesame oil and soy sauce. Mix and cook for another 10 minutes until onions start to crisp up.

Now the fun part. Take out your waffle fries from the oven and you can start assembling all your toppings.

Assemble by placing your fries in your chosed serving dish, top with your kimchi mix, coriander, sliced chilli, spring onion, sesame seeds, wedges of lime, and generous dollops of LEON Korean Mayo.
