Jude's X LEON Affogato

Ingredients

LEON Ground Dark Roast Coffee

Jude's Madagascan Vanilla Ice cream 

1x Cookie

Method 

Prepare your LEON coffee. Add one heaped tbsp of LEON coffee to your cafetiere. Gradually add 250ml of boiled water. Stir and place lid onto cafetiere. Allow to infuse for four minutes. Plunge.

Get one or two scoops of your chosen ice cream, we’ve picked Jude’s Madagascan Vanilla, and place into a shallow bowl or glass. Traditionally, Affogato is served in a clear glass or cup to highlight the layers of ice cream.

Pour the hot coffee. Slowly pour the hot coffee over the ice cream. The contrast between the hot liquid and the cold ice cream will create a beautiful visual effect as the ice cream starts to melt slightly.

Add toppings (optional). We’ve topped ours with crushed cookie, but other toppings could be shaved chocolate, whipped cream or a crisp biscotti for added crunch and flavour.

Best enjoyed as soon as they’re assembled, partly frozen and when the coffee is still hot – enjoy!
