Cajun coffee rub
Seasoning for fries, rub for vegetables or meat
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons sweet Smoked paprika
- 1 ½ tablespoons LEON ground coffee
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried onion granules
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar (coconut sugar/palm sugar)
METHOD:
- Place everything into a pestle and mortar or spice grinder and grind until the whole spices (fennel seeds) are ground. Do not turn this into a powder, you want to be able to see pecks of green from the herbs.
- Cook LEON Waffle Fries as per instructions on the pack and season.
We source 100% arabica, triple-certified beans for our LEON coffee. The very same ones that we serve in our restaurants. We've sourced ours from Peru and Honduras which has been roasted, and ground, carefully to deliver notes of smooth caramel & a hint of citrus, with a little acidity. And because of the grind size we've chosen ours can be used for both filter brewers and cafetieres. So, finally, great coffee at home.
Buy productCriss-cut, lightly seasoned and naturally gluten free, that’s just some of the reasons why our LEON waffle fries are a fan favourite. And now you can enjoy them at home. They’re a source of fibre and contain natural ingredients that you would find in your cupboard at home: potatoes, sunflower oil, flours and some spices for seasoning. We want plants to taste good, so these are a chip off the old block.
