How do I purchase a coffee subscription?

The LEON Coffee subscription can be purchased for £15 a month from the link above. When you purchase your subscription we will send you a confirmation email to your preferred email address, and a second email explaining how it works.

When you next log in to Smart Order, use the email address you purchased your subscription with and the discount will automatically be applied at checkout providing you have an active subscription.

Your subscription will be valid for the month from date of purchase, and will auto-renew. You can cancel your subscription at any time and this will stop it auto-renewing. You will still be charged for the month. You can manage your subscriptions at the 'Manage my Subscription' button.

There is a total redemption limit of 75 coffees across the 30 day offer period.

There is a cap of one per coffee order per transaction every 15 minutes. This is to allow us to manage queues - we want you to get as much coffee as you want, but can't make all 75 in one go without disrupting other guests' experience.

This offer can only be used via purchases on Smart Order, our click & collect platform. You can place your order for immediate collection or at any 5-minute interval throughout the day of order. It does not work at kiosks or tills in a LEON restaurant.

How does it work?

Sign up to our Coffee Subscription offer and pay £15 a month for as many coffees as you can drink (up to a maximum of 75 coffees over the month).

  2. Order here, on Smart Order. If you haven't got a Smart Order account yet, make sure to create one with the same email address you've used to purchase your subscription. The discount will automatically be applied at checkout providing you have an active subscription.
  3. Enjoy coffee all month, wherever you are.

Once you’ve purchased your subscription we’ll send you an email confirming that your email address is activated on our Smart Order page. Then you can begin ordering your free coffees to collect immediately, or schedule an order for future collection.

What’s included?

You can use your coffee subscription for all of our coffee-based drinks, including iced coffees, teas and hot chocolate. This includes all sizes and organic milk options. Seasonal/Festive coffees are not included.

How many drinks can I have?

You can purchase a maximum of 75 coffees over the month.

You can purchase one coffee at a time every 15 minutes using your subscription. This is to help us manage the flow in our restaurants so other guests aren’t disappointed if their order is behind 75 coffees, all ordered at once.

There is no maximum to the number of times a day you can order coffee.

How much does the subscription cost?

£15 a month

When will I be billed each month?

You can find the renewal date on the subscription email that was sent to you when you started your subscription.

The billing cycle is monthly from the date you enrol in the subscription, and you will be charged on the same date each month. For example, if you purchase your subscription on 17th January you will next be billed on 17th February.

If your billing date is not present in a month (say, the 31st) then the preceding date is selected (e.g. the 30th). The renewal shifts back to the original date in the next month.

Can friends and family use the same subscription?

Each subscription is exclusive to an individual’s Smart Order account, so cannot be shared.

How do I redeem the offer in restaurants?

  1. Go to Smart Order, our online click-and-collect platform.
  2. If you haven’t already, create an account. Note that the email address associated with your account must be the same as the email address you used to purchase the subscription.
  3. Add a coffee to your cart, plus anything else you fancy.
  4. Select a collection time - this can be for immediate collection, or at any 5-minute interval throughout the day.
  5. If you’ve added anything else to your basket, you can also pay for it at this screen.
  6. Collect and enjoy.

Where can I use my coffee subscription?

This offer is available at participating restaurants. It is not available in Strensham, Norton Canes, Northampton, Rownhams, Clackets East, Clackets West, Euston, Kings Cross, Stansted, Eurotunnel, Heathrow T2, Cheshire Oaks, Liverpool Street, Paddington, Victoria Station (Concourse Level), Leeds Skelton Lake Services, Leeds Station, Beconsfield, Cobham.

Does my subscription work on Deliveroo and UberEats?

Sorry, no. The coffee subscription only works for in-restaurant coffees.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at the Manage Account page.

Remember you need to cancel at least a day before your renewal date. Please refer to your most recent subscription email to check your renewal date.

If you cancel part way through the month, your subscription will continue to run until the end of the month. We won’t take any payments after that.

Can I get a refund if I cancel part of the way through the month?

No. If you cancel your subscription part of the way through the month it will continue to run until your renewal date. You can read our Terms & Conditions here.

Can I purchase a subscription for someone else?

Subscriptions are linked to the email address you send your confirmation email to. If you send the confirmation email and receipt to the person you’re buying it for then the subscription will work on their Smart Order account.

At the moment we don’t have a gift card available for subscriptions.

How do I renew my subscription?

Your subscription will auto-renew each month. The monthly fee will be charged to the payment details you provided when you first signed up.

How do I change my payment card?

At the Manage Account page.

I don't have a smart phone, can I still use the subscription?

All of our coffee subscription orders need to be placed through Smart Order, our web-based click-and-collect platform. So long as you have access to an internet browser to place your order, you can use the subscription.

Can I use the subscription on top of any other discounts or meal deals?

No, you cannot use the subscription on top of any other discounts or meal deals. This includes our Breakfast Meal Deal, Emergency Services Discount and Student Discount.

How does the coffee subscription work with your loyalty scheme?

Smart Order loyalty gives you 1 point for every £1 spent. Save 20 points and enjoy a coffee on us.

At the moment orders that include a coffee subscription discount code do not work with our loyalty scheme, but we’re working to fix this. Once fixed, you will still accrue 1 point per £1 spent, which means you won’t accrue any points for your free coffee.
